Awesome Mom Moment #5: What Two Tiny Girls Made Me Realize

On August 16, 2001, my first daughter, Elyssa Nicolette Alvey, was born in Evansville, Indiana. She was a bright-blue-eyed, blond haired, little girl. She weighed 5 pounds and 4 ounces. She was 19 ¾ inches long.

On September 22, 2003, my second daughter, Abigail Alexis Alvey, was born in Huntingburg, Indiana. She was a bright-blue-eyed, brown haired, little girl. She weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces.

Having more than one child made me comprehend just how expandable the human heart really is. Each child is so very different from the other. Both my daughters have a special place in my heart.

They also made me love my own mother more because I realized how many sacrifices my mom made for me.

Additionally, I also just plain loved life more. I am a more positive person because everything came together, and my life was better because of two tiny girls and my love for them.
